How do you hatch eggs? When you receive a Pokémon egg gift or have bred it, you have to walk a certain number of steps until it hatches. The annoying thing is that each egg takes up a place in your group. Therefore, it is a good idea to take the time to incubate instead of driving the story forward with the eggs in your luggage.

These places are ideal: The best thing to do is to look for a long route with plenty of space and as few random encounters as possible – Route 209 or 210, for example. First defeat all trainers in the respective area, and then get on your bike. Now it’s time to do laps until a Pokémon hatches out of the egg.

Hatch Pokémon eggs faster with magma armor and flame bodies

So you need fewer steps: There is a trick you can use to speed up the process. To do this, you need a Pokémon on your team that has the Magma Shell or Flame Bodies skill. If this is the case, the steps required for all eggs that you carry with you are halved. So for maximum efficiency you pack five eggs and the corresponding Fire Pokémon in your group. The effect is not stacked, however, so a second monster with one of the abilities mentioned does not reduce the steps any further.
