It is currently unknown how strong the new charge attack whirl will actually be. So far, Hydreigon uses the dark-type move Dark Aura. This does slightly more damage (80) but also charges longer. If Swirler turns out to be an upgrade, it will make Kapuno and his evolutions that much stronger. However, there will still be better dragon and dark attackers in Pokémon GO.

Tips for June’s Community Day with Kapuno in Pokémon GO

How to prepare: Since Community Day is really worth it in June 2022, you should make some preparations in advance to catch as many Kapuno as possible. Community Day on Saturday only runs for three hours – so go to the event with a few hundred balls to get off to a flying start.

If you want to secure the event-exclusive attack, you need a total of 125 candies to evolve into Hydreigon. Also, have a Lure Module and a smoke handy if you plan on not walking that much. However, empty your incubator and put eggs in it during the event – shortly before the end of the event you should also add fresh eggs again, as you will benefit from hatching times that are four times as fast after the event.
