What’s in the new addon? As usual, there are 135 new cards in the “Split in Alterac Valley” expansion, which should inspire many fresh deck ideas and strategies. Above all, the new hero cards are really powerful and could ensure that the quests take a back seat – they had clearly dominated Hearthstone recently.

We have all 135 new cards – neatly sorted – here for you.

This is the key word “Honorable Victory”: After a while, the expansion brings with it a new keyword that can be found on many maps, namely “Honorable Victory”. This is an effect that is always triggered when an opposing servant is defeated by the card with the keyword with exact damage.

So if an opposing servant has 3 lives, then you have to inflict exactly 3 damage in order to achieve an “Honorable Victory”. That brings different bonuses, depending on the card. This can be an increase in values (about + 1 / + 1) or allow a card to be drawn. Each “Honorable Victory” card has its own effect.

What else is there to do? A legendary series of quests will run during the expansion – in addition to the reward path. Players can pick up a number of additional golden cards here if they collect enough honor. We explained exactly how this works in our article on the honor system in Hearthstone.

As usual, there will be another “miniset” in a few weeks after the release, which will probably contain 35 new cards. Until then, you have time to earn enough gold from the fresh reward path.

Have you already looked into “Split in the Alterac Valley”? Or does this Hearthstone expansion not contain anything of interest to you?
