Black Desert apparently gets a new class – Could be a certain Mr. Monkey King

A leak on Black Desert Online shows a possible new class that should appear in the future. According to Dataminern, the monkey king Wukong will be the next class in the MMORPG line-up.

It’s about this class: The legend of the Monkey King Sun Wukong will also be known to many in Europe, as Wukong was reinterpreted as a character in popular series such as Dragon Ball or used in games such as League of Legends.

Now dataminers have apparently unearthed a new class in Black Desert Online that bears the name of the legendary king. It will (logically) be an all-male class. While Wukong was discovered a few weeks ago, more details are now available.

According to Leaks, Wukong uses a staff as a weapon, which is similar to the tamer’s Bo staff. The staff of Wukong is, however, in contrast to the tamer, his primary weapon.

The new class will use a traditional Chinese jug as a second weapon. In the picture you can see the jug on the Wukong’s belt. Such pitchers usually have a throat in the middle that has a rope wrapped around it to make them easier to transport.

How exactly Wokung will use the pitcher as a weapon is not known. Under the video for the leak, however, some fans speculate that he will get drunk in battle to get stronger.

This is what fans say: There are not many reactions to Wukong from the community yet. Opinions differ among the BDO fans who have already commented on it.

Some of the players think the pictures and information from the leak are cool and for some players who are currently taking time out, Wukong would even be a reason to start over with BDO. These fans would find it especially cool if he could fly on a golden cloud, just like in the legend.
