Coach Michael Pohl still can’t quite believe how well he got off to a good start in the ice hockey regional league with newly promoted CE Timmendorf. The Beach Devils from the Baltic Sea have scored six wins in the first eleven games, with another success on Friday (8 p.m.) at the Weserstars Bremen, the Ostholsteiners can consolidate third place in the table and underpin their ambitions for the championship round.

“I really wouldn’t have expected that before the season started, but the guys have really made a good step forward in the last few weeks. And the hard work is now also shown in the table, ”explains Pohl. “What I’m particularly happy about is the fact that the team remains self-critical and is not resting on the great start.”
