Destiny 2 grants players a wish – Unfortunately, they want the ultimate evil
Christmas is a time of gratitude and gifts in Destiny 2. With the dawning event next week you can thank the NPCs with fresh biscuit deliveries and earn shiny dust gifts and winter items. What is new, however, is that it is also the time when Eva Levante ultimately fulfills bad wishes.
If you want something in Destiny 2, it can actually come true. Bungie has often been good for a surprise lately. Xur should become more important again? Now he is your new quiz show master with the funny sayings. Are you missing the mysterious, interstellar star horse from the season of the vagabond? Since the beginning of December you can visit the transparent space horse in the latest 6-player activity and let its neighing accompany you acoustically.
What would you like from Bungie? In the past few months, Bungie asked the Destiny 2 community what personal wish they would send to Eva Levante if they had one wish free. The response to it was huge and the ideas in the Twitter tweet were real heartfelt wishes from the players (via Twitter).
- On the wish list of YouTuber Kackis-HD was the return of the guns from the black armory.
- Moira-DTM wanted to be able to adapt the appearance of its guardian at a later date.
- The player D1 Alpha-Vet had three wishes at once. Return of the Sparrow Racing League, Iron Banner Ornaments from Season 3, and Trials of the Nine Armor Ornaments for the Prophecy Dungeon.
- Last but not least, the HNT-3R player wrote to Eva: “Give me the damn” Tobey Maguire dance emote “
And won: The ultimate, nastiest dance move ever. In the meantime, the guardians in Destiny 2 have discovered the emote “Ultra-cooler-Tanz” in the game and at the latest then it became clear which Christmas wish Eva had fulfilled the community.
Where did the new emote come from? This cult dance comes from the Hollywood debut for Spiderman 3 from 2007. There, Spiderman (alias Tobey Maguire), who is possessed by the Venom symbiote and thus mutated into an egoist, dances to the song “People Get Up an Drive your Funky Soul”, Remix of a James Brown song.
To this day, the dance is a popular meme that split a generation of Spiderman fans. Some found the dance mega-cool and celebrated the swing of the hips, while others, ashamed, would have preferred to forget about this “ultimate evil” dance move immediately.
Destiny 2, or Eva Levante, has already fulfilled a wish from the community. The players can now, like Tobey in Spiderman 3, let their hips circle and celebrate their little Christmas present with their teammates.
