HSG Ostsee missed the surprise against Oranienburg

The third division handball players of HSG Ostsee N / G missed the surprise they had hoped for and were beaten by Oranienburger HC, third in the table, with 27:34 (11:15).

The game began in front of 130 fans on both sides, the first goal was not scored until the fifth minute. For the hosts, where newcomer Vuskan Zmajevic replaced the ailing Yannik Barthel on the right wing, things then went according to plan, in the 14th minute Alexander Mendle scored 6: 5. But as a result, Oranienburg pulled away with four goals in a row to 9: 6 (20th) and 14: 8 (24th) after various small mistakes by Ostholsteiner, which coach Jens Häusler wanted to avoid. Piet Möller also awarded two seven meters. Nevertheless, the HSG came up to four goals in the majority before the break.

Turnaround should no longer succeed

After the break, new signing Philip Wäger shortened to 19:21 (43rd), but the subsequent goal should no longer succeed, a turnaround like a week ago after falling behind bottom light Fredenbeck did not materialize. Oranienburg increased to 29:22 in the 53rd minute. The best thrower of the game was Oranienburg’s Dennis Schmöker. The left winger scored nine goals, converting all six seven meters.
