Final Fantasy XIV released its new addon Endwalker on December 7th. In this episode of the MeinMMO podcast, we talk about the beginnings of the MMORPG, the expansion and the possible causes of the sudden onslaught of new players in 2021.

This is the topic: Final Fantasy XIV, now 11 years old, seems to be flourishing right now. It just recently released its newest addon, Endwalker, and its servers were overrun with gamers. Long queues quickly formed and Developers had to apologize for the server problemsbecause they couldn’t cope with the huge onslaught.

In this episode of the MeinMMO podcast, we look at the MMORPG from the perspective of a long-time veteran player and a newcomer. We look at the beginnings of the game, the current state and what makes it attractive to so many gamers. But we also go into the problems and weaknesses.
