“The Matrix Awakens” shows graphics of the future

Epic Games has released a demo of its new game development environment Unreal Engine 5, which PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners have been able to download and try out for a few days. The graphic demo “The Matrix Awakens” transports you – shortly before the cinema release of “Matrix 4” on December 23rd – into the cult science fiction universe of the “Matrix” films and into the virtual city where Neo, Trinity and the other heroes from the films fight against nasty agents. The visuals of the playable demo are so good that you almost believe you are dealing with a film.
