Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on December 14th – The dawn of 2021 begins

A festive weekly reset is imminent in Destiny 2, which begins in 2021. We at MeinMMO bring you up to date on what’s going on on the tower this week, what’s still going on at the 30th anniversary and what’s new to discover this week.

This is what happens this week: It will be festive in Destiny 2 when Bungie heralds the dawn of 2021. The first snowflake of the season floats from the sky onto the tower and the festive Christmas event smells of cookies and the new “dendrite shimmer” armor. But dress warmly for it, because the snowball fights will also return to the event in 2021.

At the ongoing anniversary event “30 Years of Bungie”, a new rotation for the “Trials of Eternity” on the difficulty level legend starts this week, so that you will meet new enemies there. This is especially important if you want to complete the seal of triumph for “30 Years of Bungie”.

In addition, Bungie currently has a very serious topic to deal with, which has now been brought up again after an interview with former employees.

With the reset, there is also a change expected by the players:

• The new dungeon “Suction of Greed” can be run and farmed as often as you want after today’s weekly reset, just as it is already the case with the Prophecy Dungeon. The ban that you can only run the dungeon once per character and week is no longer applicable.

With the new one in the dungeon, the players are currently looking for the new “Artful Armor” and the new weapons such as the Eyasluna handgun and the Gjallarhorn, which as the owner of the anniversary DLC can only be obtained from the dungeon . The armor is also exclusive as it has a valuable fifth mod slot that could become very important in the future.

The twilight: The ordeal by fire this week is the following strike:

• Devil’s den, cosmodrome
  • In this strike in the cosmodrome you fight your way to the giant servitor Sepiks Prime. After he was killed, he was recovered, rebuilt, and reinforced with SIVA. On the way to him you have to fight your way through a lot of opponents. The 100K can also be done well at lower difficulty levels.

• The time-lost weapon “Praedyths Rache” (sniper rifle) awaits you as a reward in challenge mode. The weapon is guaranteed to come with 2 perks per slot. But keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.
