Before there is another major Valhalla expansion for Assassin’s Creed in the coming year, the franchise takes a look back at the past. You can now get the new free DLC for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The focus is on the crossover event, which will bring you fresh content for the 2018 game. We’ll tell you what’s in the download.

This brings title update 1.5.6 for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The update was recently available for download. JThe size of the file varies depending on the platform, on the PS4 you have to plan significantly more space than on the Xbox (via Ubisoft).

  • Xbox One: 13.2 GB
  • PS4: 20.7 GB

The new Quest series offers: The mission “Those who are Treasured” is about how the AC Odyssey story continues for Kassandra or Alexios after the end in which they – Warning, spoilers for the end of Odyssey! – become immortal through the staff of Hermes.

So it is also possible that Kassandra meets Eivor many years later. At the beginning of the quest, the protagonist relaxes with bread and wine, but familiar faces soon call her on new adventures.

How do I unlock the new content? The story will be unlocked once you have completed Chapter 1 and reached Megaris.

Further content: There are two small innovations in addition to the story content. On the one hand, a so-called franchise menu was introduced. That probably means that in an Assassin’s Creed game you can access, manage or at least view content from other titles in the series.

This is already the case with the new Hitman trilogy, for example. On the other hand, it is now possible to get to a port in Odyssey by fast travel.

There is also a trailer for the meeting of Kassandra and Eivor:

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey received a next-gen update some time ago, thanks to which we can play the title on the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S with a smooth 60 FPS via backward compatibility. Fortunately, the file is nowhere near as large and weighs less than half a gigabyte on both consoles. It’s always nice to see publishers take care of their old games and still provide them with patches after years.
