These are all the Switch games shown from Nintendo Indie World.
With the “Indie World”, Nintendo held another showcase for its smaller titles shortly before Christmas, because as the name suggests, indie games are in the spotlight here.
All in all 19 tracks were presented in the 20-minute presentation. You can even download some of them from the eShop today. We have summarized which titles to see and what the highlights of the showcase were here.

That’s what it’s about: In the charming RPG Sea of Stars we explore a freely accessible world in pixel optics, fight off monsters and powerful bosses in turn-based battles in the style of classic role-playing games, and listen to bard troops in the tavern. Sea of Stars also promises a story full of twists and turns that should also touch us emotionally.

Aliisha – The Oblivion of Twin Goddesses – In the adventure we go exploring together

This is what it’s about: In a co-op adventure Aliisha – The Oblivion of Twin Goddesses let’s explore an abandoned temple alone or in pairs. As twin sisters Lisha and Aisha, we must work together to solve the puzzles on our way inside. Each sister controls themselves differently: while one of the two uses motion controls, the other relies on the switch’s touch screen. Depending on how we go about playing we can even get different endings.

- Baby Storm (January 21, 2022): a co-op party game for four people
- GRIME (Summer 2022): a gritty 2D action metroidvania
- Gerda: A Flame in Winter (2022): an emotional adventure game set in occupied Denmark during World War II
- Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery (Spring 2022): a puzzle game in which we solve puzzles with the brush
- Kill (Spring 2022): a turn-based combat RPG covering topics such as depression and anxiety
Shadowdrops: These featured Switch games are available starting today
Fortunately, you don’t have to wait for some of the games shown. Nintendo announced some Shadow Drops, which means that you can download some of the titles directly from the Nintendo eShop during the day. These games are available from today:
- Dungeon Munchies: a 2D action platformer where you hunt and eat monsters
- free demo of Figment 2: Creed Valley
- Let’s Play! Oink Games: Party game with different games
- Chicory: A Colorful Tale: a relaxed adventure game in which we paint the world in bright colors
- Timelie: a stealth puzzle game in which we can control time (free demo also available)

With that, Nintendo probably held the last major event of the year. Another colorful mix of games awaited us, even if Hollow Knight: Silksong, to the great disappointment of colleague Dennis, didn’t get a performance.
In the meantime, if you don’t want to look at upcoming but past games, you can find out in your personal statistics in the Nintendo Switch Annual Review 2021 which titles you have played for how long and what your favorites were.
