Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles: Third Free Update brings three new characters

Players of Sega’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles can look forward to the third free update that will be released today (December 16, 2021). Among other things, new playable characters are added: Enmu as well as Yushiro and Tamayo. In addition, there are some balance changes that you will find below, such as the descriptions of the new figures.

Enmu
The least of the twelve Kizuki under the direct command of Kibutsuji. Enmu has a twisted personality and enjoys the sight of people’s suffering and grief. After receiving the blood from Kibutsuji, he attacked Tanjiro and the other demon slayers who were on board the Mugen train.
Enmu mainly fights with long-range attacks and projectiles that can throw his opponents off guard. In addition to light and air attacks, Enmus throwing movements also have a long range, which allows the player to keep his opponent at a distance. Both of his support skills are insurmountable and can take the opponent by surprise.

Yushiro & Tamayo
Tamayo researches demons hoping to get revenge on Kibutsuji, the man who turned her into a demon. Yushiro is a young man whose life Tamayo saved by turning him into a demon – her only successful attempt to date. Yushiro has various skills that allow him to attack while dodging or parrying an opponent’s attacks. He is characterized by his counterattacks. Tamayo can be summoned with Yushiro’s support ability and then acts independently like a co-op character. Yushiro and Tamayo have the same characteristics as the other demon fighters, but offer a “tag team” approach to combat.
In addition to these two new playable demons, more online missions have been added where players can earn Kimetsu Points and unlock brand new rewards.

60fps mode for custom matches
With today’s update, online custom matches can now also be enjoyed with a higher frame rate. However, to ensure a fair gaming experience, online ranked games remain at 30fps.
