Destiny 2: Update 3.4.0.1 is pending – All patch notes and information

In Destiny 2, a new update awaits you today, December 16, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, on PC and on Google Stadia. Update 3.4.0.1 comes with a hotfix. You can get the most important times and information here on MeinMMO.

You have to know that today: Bungie has announced an update for Thursday, December 16th. This was already prepared for you yesterday with a background maintenance.

Maintenance on December 16 – All times and server down

These times are important today:

• Maintenance work on all platforms will start at 5:00 p.m. German time.
• The servers will then be offline from 5:45 p.m. You will be kicked out of all activities and the downtime will begin.
• The servers are expected to go online again around 6:00 p.m. and hotfix 3.4.0.1 will be rolled out worldwide.
• Once you’ve downloaded (and copied) the update, you can play Destiny 2 again.
• Maintenance work is scheduled to end at 7:00 p.m.

Important is: Even if you have downloaded the update, there may be connection problems until the end of the maintenance work around 7:00 p.m. You may have to expect queues when logging in. Also note that third-party applications and the official Companion App cannot be accessed correctly.

That changes with update 3.4.0.1 in season 15

That’s what the hotfix brings today: Bungie has not announced any details about the update in advance. However, it is meant to be just a minor fix to known issues.

• The “Suction of Greed” dungeon, for example, should have been farmable since the weekly reset on Tuesday. According to the players, this has apparently not yet been implemented by Bungie. It is possible that this will be corrected in the hotfix today.
• There was also the assumption that the drop rate of the sword “The Other Half” might be buggy because the weapon rarely drops to the players.
