The winter event starts today in Fortnite with numerous gifts and innovations. We at MeinMMO show you how the Winterfest 2021 works and what you have to pay attention to so that you can get all 14 gifts.

What is the winter festival? In the winter festival 2021, Epic Games will put on the donation pants and present the community with a huge amount of free items, skins and much more. In addition, the map is festively decorated and you can expect a lot of XP.

14 presents and a Christmas hut

Epic Games expanded the winter event and dug up the winter hut again. With this, Sgt. Winter is at your disposal, who is relaxing in his hat and enjoying his drink.

He is surrounded by 14 gifts that are dedicated to you. These are festively wrapped and just waiting to be opened by you.

What items are in the gifts? Since they are all wrapped, you can’t be sure what is hidden in the gifts, but the packaging on some boxes suggests that at least one of them is from the Matrix range. There are definitely 14 gifts, although you can only open one per day.

To do this, you have to go into the hut and choose one of the gifts that are on the left or right side of the house.

Once you’ve decided on one, you can take a closer look at the gift and shake it to hear what’s inside. If you are sure of your choice, you can open the gift and call it yours.

What else can you do in the hat? You can join Sgt. Winter and enjoy the campfire. To do this, you have to click on the bearded old man in the hat and then select the fire next to him. This will give you a free extreme XP boost every day.

Use this daily during the holidays to push your Battle Pass to the maximum level.

How long does the event last? The event runs from December 16, 2021 to January 6, 2022. So you have 22 days to open all the presents. So if you’ve missed a day, don’t worry, Epic has put a big time limit in mind so you won’t miss any of the gifts.

Are there any challenges? There are, and you can earn two items. However, these are tied to challenges that you have to complete in Fortnite.
