Timmendorf loses the village derby in the regional ice hockey league

This was certainly not how Mikkel Joehnk had imagined his last appearance on the Baltic Sea. In the ice hockey regional league, the striker, who returns to the USA next week with the CE Timmendorf, had to admit defeat to the Adendorfer EC 2: 5 in front of 357 fans. This means that the Ostholsteiners lose important points in the battle for a top 4 place.

Timmendorf got off to a bad start

The guests from Lower Saxony got off to a better start in the village derby. There was little progress for the home side, in defense the team of coach Michael Pohl made a few mistakes – and was punished for this by clever Adendorfer, so that it went into the first break with 0: 3.

In the middle section, the Timmendorfer increased, now heeded the coach’s demand not only to play ice hockey, but also to work ice hockey. And the commitment was rewarded, Christopher Röhrl made it 1: 3 in the 35th minute.

Hope after the connection hit

In the last third, the Beach Devils from the Baltic Sea showed a lot of heart and fought passionately. With success: Marco Meyer succeeded in the majority of the connecting hits (52nd). But just two minutes later, Benjamin Kosianski made the decision 4-2. And Kamil Hajsman even increased to 5: 2 24 seconds before the final whistle.
