ESO Christmas Magic – Community supports homeless people with charity streams

The community of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online is considered to be very friendly and helpful. This year, some streamers have set up a charity event at Christmas time, which is supposed to help people who are not doing so well at the moment.

Which charity event is it about and when is it? The current charity event is called “ESO Christmas Magic”. It officially started on Friday at 2 p.m. and will continue until the night of next Sunday to Monday.

What are donations collected for? Tafel Germany e. V. and Berliner Homeless Aid e. V.

The thought of being together happily at Christmas time

Why did we choose this fundraising goal? Especially at Christmas time, many people feel alone and lonely, although this special time of the year is actually supposed to have the opposite effect. In the cities you can often see people rushing through the area hectic and laden with gifts they have just bought.

In front of the shops there are often people who are not doing so well financially without a roof over their heads. That is a blatant and very sad contrast and does not fit in with the idea of ​​a contemplative Christmas season. We want to counteract this sad fact.

We want to get closer to the idea of ​​togetherness by bringing the most diverse people together through this donation project. We hope that Tafel Deutschland will help the homeless
e. V. and the Berliner Homeless Aid e. V. to be able to take a step towards our goal.

Maybe we will bring a happier Christmas season to everyone. Especially for those who are currently having a particularly difficult time, especially in view of the pandemic as an additional burden.
