And the last stop was the airport in Cologne, where more Trittau regulars were expected at 0.40 a.m., all of whom were in action at Italian International in Milan.

The game in Bonn is only the first trend-setting match of the Trittauer in the coming weeks. At the start of the second half of the season on January 15 and 16, Strehse and Co. have to compete against relegation competitors Schorndorf and Neuhausen. “These games are just as important as the game against Beuel. But if we all have men on board, we can take important steps towards relegation, ”says Strehse confidently. The first step should and must be taken in Bonn on Sunday.
