German Halo fan film is available for free and a real feast for fans

Since December 8th, the Master Chief has moved in Halo Infinite through his latest adventure and is creating excitement for a large part of the global Halo community. And now she has another reason to be happy. Because the fan film “A Hero’s Journey” was published on YouTube and it is a lot of fun, not least because of its high production quality.

This is what it’s about: A Hero’s Journey is about two befriended children who later meet again as Spartan soldiers on the battlefield. The film was produced and shot in Germany under the direction of director Shawn Bu, who has also made the acclaimed short film “Darth Maul: Apprentice“was responsible.

Lots of cool details

According to the information about the strip, the makers of the Infinite multiplayer for this film were inspired, the project should be “by the community for the community”. And she gets to see a lot in the ten-minute film. Great CGI effects, elaborate battle choreographies and a lot of armor known from the games, such as the legendary Hayabusa armor from Halo 3.

Fan film is not Canon

Although the film has some known details ready, the story is fictitious and therefore not anchored in the permanent Halo canon. This is of course not a problem, even if it can be confusing at first that the Spartans fight among themselves and not against the Covenant aliens.
