In March 2022 stands with Gran Turismo 7 the next big release in the legendary PlayStation series. The Racer for PS4 and PS5 should not only offer the usual “realistic” graphics, but above all a lot of scope. A Japanese brochure about the game already reveals how packed the launch of Gran Turismo 7 will be – there will obviously be no lack of content.

The Gran Turismo 7 brochure is currently available free of charge in some Japanese shops and contains a lot of interesting information about the game. Twitter user bookkyamp first reported on it, being a user from the GTPlanet forum translated the whole thing into English.

As far as the rough quantities are concerned, Gran Turismo 7 trumps with about 420 different vehicle models and over 90 routes – including classics like the Nürburgring and Le Mans. In fact, the brochure also shows details on the comeback of GT mode, the single-player campaign from Gran Turismo.

Accordingly, we can head to different locations that offer us different options – we list them here for you:

  • Brand Central: The large auto shopping center that offers over 300 cars from 60 different manufacturers. However, there are only cars built after 2011.
  • Second hand goods dealer: Here are the classics that are no longer in production. Above all, Japanese second-hand goods from the 1980s and 1990s find a home here – but the range is to be expanded “daily”.
  • That Garage: Here we collect our cars and can make adjustments or marvel at the fleet. There is space for up to 1000 cars.
  • Tuning Shop: Here professionals could tweak their cars and adjust engines, brakes, suspension and more. The possibilities seem enormous.
  • GT Auto: This is where lovers come in, because in Gran Turismo we can also caress our cars by washing them or changing the oil. In addition, optical adjustments can be made – over 130 rims and 600 aero parts such as spoilers can be attached.

  • Scapes: The photo mode turns your cars into models that you can put in front of chic backgrounds and photograph. The promised ray tracing is also used here.
  • License Center: Here we can take our driving tests so that we can advance in rank and unlock additional racing events.
  • Mission Challenge: In addition to the normal races, certain challenges can be completed here – for example drifting missions or the so-called “Music Rally”, in which we drive to certain rhythms.
  • World Circuits: The many tracks and races that Gran Turismo 7 has to offer can be found here. Licensed routes and fictional events go hand in hand here.

Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4, 2022 for PS4 and PS5, although features such as ray tracing are only available on the new console.
