Call of Duty Warzone players whine loudly about fairy tale monsters – here comes the Nerf

In Call of Duty: Warzone there has been a lot of criticism of Krampus, the monster from the Christmas event 2021 in the last few days. Because the villain dismantled “naughty players” and they didn’t think it was Christmassy at all.

What was the problem with Krampus?

  • The problem with Krampus was that he was extremely high on health: if he took a certain amount of damage, he would disappear briefly, but then reappear. He had to be defeated 4 times before he finally left his loot package.

  • 6000 life points in Solo mode
  • Duos 9000 life points
  • Trios 12,000 points of life
  • Quads 15,000 life points

How did players find the Krampus? Not cool at all. There had been complaints against Krampus for days. They asked developer Raven to take the creature straight out of the game.

  • It was said, for example, that Krampus was “incredibly stupid” – in principle, the game would be over if Krampus chased you.
  • One player wrote that the “fucking thing” had his team chased in 4 different games within an hour. He just has so many love points and is such a “goddamn monster” that if he chases you, it’s game over (via reddit).

This is how CoD Warzone reacts: They have actually intervened. Krampus receives 2 nerfs:

  • His life points have been significantly reduced – this applies to all modes and squad sizes
  • In addition, Krampus no longer comes at the end of a match when the 4th circle has appeared
