One of the best LoL players of all time was already physically exhausted at 23 – returns in 2022

The Chinese Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao is considered one of the best players of all time in League of Legends, but never became world champion. He had to end his career in 2020 at the age of 23: After 8 years, Uzi was physically exhausted with more than 12 hours of LoL a day, suffered from diabetes, and his shoulder was broken. But he wants to know again in 2022. A new team is formed in China, and Uzi appears on the botlane.

Who is Uzi?

  • Uzi started his career in 2012 at “Royal Club”. He was 15 at the time and came straight out of the solo queue. Although he was able to achieve many successes in China and teams were built around him to become world champions, he never succeeded in winning the Worlds. In 2018, at the height of his career, he won everything else with Royal Never Give Up – but was eliminated from the Worlds against G2 in the quarter-finals.
  • Uzi is considered to be one of the mechanically best LoL players of all time. It’s just incredibly fast with a mouse and keyboard. He is the botlaner by which all other ADCs have to be measured.
  • In 2020, however, his lifestyle as a LoL machine caught up with him. At 23, doctors certified that he had the arms of a 50-year-old. He also suffered from diabetes. Life as a LoL professional in China is considered extremely tough and relentless. Uzi ended his career as a professional player in June 2020. He was only 23 years old at the time.

Bilibi-Gaming will es in China 2022 wissen

In this team he is now coming back: 2022 will apparently be the “year of the old stars in the new team” in LoL. In each region, teams are emerging that bring proven stars to reposition themselves:

This is what the roster of Bilibi Gaming 2022 looks like:

  • Uzi will compete in the botlane
  • The strong supporter Crisp, 2019 World Champion with FunPLus Phoenix, becomes his partner
  • The team is complemented by Breathe, Weiwei and FoFo.

That is what makes Uzi’s situation so special: At Bilibi-Gaming you seem to be planning around Uzi. Because with “Doggo” (18), the 24-year-old veteran was provided with a strong substitute and potential successor.

The 18-year-old Taiwanese is considered a great talent in LoL.

Apparently it is planned that Doggo will be given working hours so that Uzi can take it easy. Because a regular 24/7 LoL regime apparently does not want to be expected of the health ailing veteran.

It will be exciting to see if Uzi 2022 can match his old-time class and if he can finally get the world championship title he wants so badly.

The story definitely sounds like a plot for a sports film. The question is whether it will be a tragedy or a happy ending in the end.

Uzi had to end his career because he was physically broken. Another tall and relatively young LoL player suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder. He could only play LoL if his PC was set up exactly the way he wanted it:
