Streamer Tyler “TrainwrecksTV” Faraz Niknam (31) has become popular with gambling on Twitch. He usually loses large sums of money, but on New Year’s Eve he won a huge jackpot of $ 5.7 million and raked in other big profits. He decided to distribute $ 1 million to his viewers. But it wasn’t that easy.
Who is Trainwreck?
- Trainwreck has been on Twitch since 2014, he’s a similar streamer to Forsen: he’s a fixture on Twitch, but a controversial person who appeals to a specific niche. Before the lucky streak he had announced that if he really made a profit of $ 10 million, he would be giving away $ 1 million as a giveaway. Indeed, after it went so well, he kept his promise.
So then was the giveaway: Trainwreck found that getting $ 1 million out of the way is not that easy. Ultimately, however, he managed to distribute the money in the moments when everything went well.
During the stream, he received over 21,000 new subscribers, making it one of the top 10 Twitch streamers with the most paid subscriptions. Its stream reached over 70,000 viewers at its peak.
As the Inven website reports, he apparently distributed the money with a focus on regular viewers and also gave out additional money to friends of his (via inven).

What about gambling on Twitch? It’s not as if everyone thinks it’s great that a streamer indulges in gambling in front of tens of thousands of viewers and apparently also displays addictive behavior there. Trainwreck is a controversial figure on Twitch. Because he practices excessive gambling by thousands of viewers. Some US streamers criticize this sharply.
There is also a constant discussion as to whether streamers play live on Twitch with their own money, whether they are sponsored by casinos, whether something with the odds might be different for them – this does not only apply to Trainwreck, but applies to all gamblers a theme.
Trainwreck keeps warning its fans against gambling. You should definitely not start with this, it would ruin you.

How is the situation in Germany? In Germany, some streamers have also grown up with gambling on Twitch, such as MontanaBlack or Knossi.
