What does the Cyberpunk 2077 upgrade bring to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S?
The upgrades for the next gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft are after another postponement for the first quarter of 2022 planned. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently only playable via backward compatibility on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, but the full-fledged next-gen upgrade should be completely free.
As Marcin Iwinski promised in December 2020, the next-gen versions of the RPG should “fully exploit” the technical advantages of the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.

What comes after Update 1.3?
After the next huge update 1.3, which takes up almost 40 GB on the PS4 and Xbox One, various smaller patches are to follow in the fall. CD Projekt RED has not yet announced the official release dates for further updates.
When could the next patch come? If we look at the previous releases of the patches, it could take between two to five months before the next major version comes out. But nothing will come before 2022, like CD Projekt Red confirmed has .. the next big update could be with that PS5- und Xbox Series X-Upgrade come.
Cyberpunk 2077: 1. Free DLC is here
As we can see from the roadmap, the planned free “mini-DLCs” will not appear until the biggest bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 have been fixed – at least that’s the plan.
The first DLC package was released with Update 1.3 and contains some cosmetic items. How you can use these in the game, we will break down for you here:

More free DLCs are to follow with upcoming patches. The contents are unknown but are likely to be similar in nature.
What about Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer?
Update, March 31: At the moment it looks as if CDPR could have canceled the multiplayer of Cyberpunk 2077.
This emerges from an update from the developer studio. A new company report shows that the team is currently working on a new online technology for all of its games, but the focus would be on single-player titles or their improvement.
CD Projekt did not disclose any direct information on this, but Kicinski made it clear that the next project will not be an AAA online game. The new business plan also suggests that standalone multiplayer has been eliminated: “We used to suggest that our next AAA game would be a multiplayer cyberpunk game, but we decided to change this plan in light of our new, more systematic and more agile Rethink the approach, “says CEO Adam Kicinski.
