Live sports could be coming to Apple TV + very soon
Apple is in talks with MLB to create packages that include live streaming of sports games.
It seems that Apple is in the middle of talks to take its Apple TV + service a step further. According to a recent report in the New York Post, those of Cupertino would have intentions to take the transmission of sports live to their streaming service, and is currently in talks to get the MLB rights.
It seems that it is not the first time that Apple is interested in sports. According to the report, the company would be negotiating a kind of package for Apple TV + that would include add-ons according to cost. The New York Post assures that, if Apple’s negotiations with MLB are successful, Apple TV + would begin broadcasting next season’s MLB games.
On the other hand, in case of ending up achieving the negotiations, Apple would also go on to broadcast the national games of the week previously owned by ESPN. However, not much else is known about the packages that the Cupertino would offer on their Apple TV + platform.
Apple TV + continues to improve its catalog
Apple has started to work to improve its streaming service, Apple TV +. We have recently seen how many of its productions have received renewals to other seasons, such as ‘Servant’, which has been renewed for its fourth and final season, and ‘Invasion’ with its second season.
What’s more, the new series and films that are about to reach the platform have quite recognized talent, as is the case with the movie ‘Bad Blood’ starring Jennifer Lawrence, the series directed by Alfonso Cuarón and starring Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline or the upcoming suspense thriller starring Uma Thurman, ‘Suspicion’, and which points to be one of the best series of any current streaming platform.
