Update 2.0 finally brings a big improvement – and many have not even noticed it.

Have you already tested all the new features that Update 2.0 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons brings? It is quite possible that you missed one or the other, because some features were introduced almost secretly. This includes a huge improvement that you shouldn’t miss out on. Because it solves an annoying problem.

New resident feature

This is what it’s about: One of the less well-known features that Update 2.0 brings into play is a decisive improvement. With Melinda’s help, we can now reset the houses of our residents.

This is how it works: We can complain to Melinda about the inhabitants of our island, whereupon she asks us what bothers us about them. We have the opportunity to say that we don’t like the animal’s home. Melinda then resets this.

Why is that so useful? So far, the first to move into our island were doomed to live in boring standard dwellings with only wooden furniture. Personalization: none. Melinda’s new feature gives us the opportunity to change that so that the early residents can finally live comfortably and individually.
