League of Legends: Wild Rift

What kind of game is this? Wild Rift is the mobile version of League of Legends. It is a standalone game announced in October 2019 and has been in development for 3 years. Officially, the game is an open beta that players from Europe have been able to participate in since December 10, 2020. Basically, the game is complete.

The mobile version should differ from the PC version in a few points:

  • The controls have been adjusted so that characters can be played via the touchscreen
  • Matches are much shorter
  • There is more action than in classic LoL
  • There is an adapted champion pool

In the reviews, Wild Rift is praised for the good implementation of the PC version on mobile. Especially the graphics and animations, the gameplay and the controls are viewed positively.
