Table tennis restart despite Corona

Under 2G-plus conditions, table tennis is played in the 3rd league and in the regional league at the weekend.

Two games at TSV Schwarzenbek

At the start of the second half of the season, the third division men of TSV Schwarzenbek are expecting the SVH Kassel (3.15 p.m.) in the best possible line-up in the Northeast sports hall on Saturday after the Swede Jonatan McDonald has recovered from his neck muscle injury. The jump to fourth place in the table beckons the Lauenburgers. With four players per team plus coaches and referees, TSV wants to allow 35 spectators – 50 people are allowed in the hall. The TSV women expect a day later (3 p.m.) the winless tail light TSV Watenbüttel for the regional league duel. TSV wants to allow 35 spectators to both games.

Bargteheider class struggle against Kassel

For men’s third division team TSV Bargteheide, Sunday’s home game against Kassel (12 noon, Carl Orff School) is already pointing the way: With a win, Stormarn would make the connection to the non-relegation ranks. A defeat, on the other hand, would mean that relegation could hardly be prevented, because Kassel would then occupy the first non-relegation place with a five-point lead. In Kassel, the Bargteheider were able to score the only point of the first half of the season with a 5:5.

Siek’s series in danger

At the start of the second half of the regional league, the men from SV Siek, who have won three times in a row, will receive the Berlin team from TTC Düppel on Sunday at 11 a.m., which can close the gap to sixth place on points. Sebastian Stürzebecher, one of the best players in the Regionalliga Nord, has been serving with the guests for years, and the number two in Berlin is no stranger either: Deniz Aydin was successful for SV Siek for years.
