The realme 9 Pro is filtered: Snapdragon 695 and triple rear camera

The new phone from the Chinese brand destined to take over the mid-range has been leaked weeks before its launch. As we can see, we are facing a mid-range smartphone without great pretensions.

Since it arrived on the market back in 2018, Realme has been able to occupy the entry, medium and high range with phones that stand out for their quality / price ratio.

Always starting from the bottom, realme had the difficult mission of competing with Xiaomi, the company that had carved out that niche in the market, displacing the rest of the brands. Apple, Samsung and Huawei focused on the premium high-end and the rest went to Xiaomi.

Luckily for customers, now we have more options and better prices, something that only happens when two or several companies fight for the same cake. And in this sense we have to talk about the new mid-range smartphone that realme is preparing.

The phone we are talking about is realme 9 Pro as it has been fully leaked weeks before its release. Thanks to OnLeaks (via Smartprix), since they are the ones who have made the information public.

Judging from the renders, the smartphone is expected to receive a design overhaul for the rear camera module. But otherwise the front and back look a lot like the brand’s older phones.

It can be seen a glossy back that is made of polycarbonate or glass, while the front screen has the selfie camera on one side. The Realme 9 Pro could be available in three different color options: Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue.

In addition to the renders, some specifications of the Realme 9 Pro have also been leaked: 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 695 5G processor and 6/8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage.

The 108 Mpx camera they used last year seems to have disappeared, which would justify the current 64 Mpx accompanied by an 8 Mpx wide angle and a 2 Mpx macro.

A 16 Mpx camera would take care of the selfies in the front part. Finally, it should be noted that it is expected 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, the currently standard fast charge.

While we don’t have a release date at the moment, the Realme 9 Pro should launch sometime in the next few weeks in Europe. But for now it is speculation.
