New co-op shooter on Steam launches with many positive reviews – This is The Anacrusis

What kind of game is this? Since January 13, 2022, “The Anacrusis” has been available on Steam in Early Access. This is a co-op shooter from Stray Bombay. The game is played in first-person view and your co-op group has room for four players.

The setting is quite unusual, but throws in some “Among Us” vibes. You play aboard a spaceship that travels in space sometime in the 60’s or 70’s. The gameplay is reminiscent of Left 4 Dead.

How to play: The co-op shooter is easy to understand: grab a few friends, choose your loadout from a selection of crazy sci-fi weapons and then blast your way through hordes of aliens. Lots and lots of aliens. As you play, you unlock bonuses, weapons, and new ways to play.

• An AI driver ensures that every battle should feel different. Spawns from bosses and enemies as well as weapon, gadget and healing drops should be adjusted depending on your skill
• By shooting down enemies, you unlock special bonuses that affect how you play. You can use it to upgrade your pistol or strengthen your defense
• You fight with sci-fi weapons such as stasis grenades, shield grenades to cover yourself, respawners to revive friends or the laser gun
• Mod Support – The team supports modders and their work and offers you a large selection right from the start
