The third week of 2022 also has the first major release of the year in store, namely a co-op shooter that is finally coming out after several postponements. This and all other important new releases for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 17th to 23rd January 2021 we have summarized them for you in our release list.

What awaits you: In Rainbow Six Extraction they get it Rainbow Six: Siege well-known operator with an entirely new threat. An alien invasion has swept across the United States and now it’s up to REACT special forces to confront the beasts and find out more about the alien forms.

To do this, you fight your way through three areas in individual missions and fulfill changing mission goals in order to collect XP and thus unlock new areas, additional operators or equipment. The special feature: You can decide at any time whether you want to secure the XP you have collected so far and have yourself flown out, or continue and risk more. Because you can lose operators if you fail and then have to save them from the areas again.

Although Rainbow Six Extraction can also be played alone, the basic principle – such as the different abilities of the operators – is completely designed for co-op (up to 3 players) and should therefore be worth a look, especially for fans of cooperative games. The title will also be available in Xbox Game Pass from January 28th, and everyone with an Ultimate subscription can get started right at the launch on January 20th.
