Rumors arrive about an iPad Air: A15 Bionic, Focused Framing, 5G and more

It seems that Apple is preparing a new iPad Air for this beginning of 2022 with interesting improvements.

Apple might be thinking launch a new iPad Air in this beginning of 2022, probably at the rumored spring event. And the always successful half Japanese Macotakara claims to have relevant information about this new iPad model that comes from “reliable sources in China”.

The current generation iPad Air was released in late 2020 with one of the biggest redesigns in its history. Apple brought back the “Air” brand to introduce a model very similar to the iPad Pro in terms of design, but one step below in terms of power and performance. And we expect a similar update in the coming months.

According to the report, Apple is preparing a interesting evolution of the iPad Air maintaining the current design but improving the internal specifications of the device. This is what Macotakara ensures that we will see in the new iPad Air:

• Chip A15 Bionic. The same processor from the iPhone 13 will be included in the new iPad Air.
• Improved front camera. The front camera will improve with a resolution of 12 megapixels and the arrival of Center Framing.
• 5G connectivity. We will have the possibility to buy an iPad Air with 5G.
• spring release. The iPad Air 5 will be announced alongside the iPhone SE 3 sometime in the spring.

These developments would make the New iPad Air will inherit some features from the iPad mini, which makes sense as they are very similar devices. It is one of the most recommended iPad and it is normal that Apple wants to take care of it.
