Age of Empires 4: 1v1 Ranked Closed Beta is available to try this week

Developer Relic Entertainment has announced, that players of Age of Empires 4 (from 53,99€ at buy) can take a first look at the ranked mode of the real-time strategy game in just a few days. In detail, this is the closed beta for the 1v1 format, which will start on January 20, 2022. If you also want to take part in the test, you must first register as an “Age Insider” on the corresponding website to register. Make sure, among other things, that your “DxDiag” has been uploaded. After a short time you should then have an e-mail with all further steps in your inbox.

The end of the closed beta is scheduled for January 28, 2022. In spring 2022, the ranked game mode should then be available to everyone. At the end of each season, the developers will distribute exclusive rewards to players based on their rank. In the next few days there will also be the next update for the strategy title. Bug fixes and other balancing changes are imminent. Age of Empires 4 has been available for PC since October 28, 2021. In the test on 4Players.de, the strategy game achieved a good rating.
