What is a spotlight hour? In Pokémon GO, there is an hour-long event every Tuesday that focuses on a specific Pokémon. This then spawns more frequently during this time. It also gives you an additional bonus.

In today’s Spotlight session, you’ll meet the Electric Pokémon Plusle. It comes from the 3rd generation of games and has no advance or further development. You can also look forward to a candy bonus.

Spotlight Hour with Plusle – Start, Shiny and Bonuses

When is the limelight hour? The short event starts today, January 18, 2022, at 18:00 local time. You then have one hour to use the spotlight hour until it ends again at 7:00 p.m.

These are the bonuses: During the Spotlight Hour, you will encounter numerous Plusles. They spawn on every corner, and igniting a smoke will attract more specimens.

In addition, a candy bonus awaits you today. This will give you double candies when catching Pokémon.

Is there a Shiny Plusle? Yes, Plusle is also available in game in his shiny form. As you can see in the image below, the red on Plusle’s body is a little darker on the Shiny.

Worth the spotlight hour with Plusle

Plusle is one of the monsters, which isn’t very strong. Its stats are all pretty average, so it doesn’t matter in raids and the PvP league. This also makes the candy bonus for catching Plusle rather uninteresting. Shiny hunters in particular will get their money’s worth at today’s limelight hour.
