The endgame of Lost Ark offers many activities – these 3 are particularly worthwhile

The new MMORPG Lost Ark is almost upon us and many people are still wondering if the game will be exciting for them in the long term. We at MeinMMO take a look at the endgame and tell you what is particularly worthwhile there.

What’s the quickest way to get to the endgame? In Lost Ark, the leveling process is typically not something that drags on for very long. You have reached the maximum level, 50 in our version, comparatively quickly.

The fastest way to do this is to play through the normal story campaign and take along a few side quests and events. You don’t need much more to reach level 50.

An update in the Russian version recently made sure that even just the main quest is enough to get you to level 50. Whether this is exactly the case with us at the start is not confirmed at the moment.

Why should you enjoy for the first time? Take your time with your first character and explore everything you want to explore. Because there are no deviations in the story and in the leveling process of Lost Ark.

If you make a new character, you experience exactly the same thing again. However, several characters are important for the endgame and sometimes even essential. So you will rush through the story often enough to reach level 50.

Lost Ark delivers action-packed action with 15 classes – see how they look in the video here

Activity 1 – Chaos Dungeons

What should you do first? You should complete the first quest line in the new level 50 area as soon as possible, thereby unlocking the first important endgame activity that is particularly worthwhile, namely the Chaos Dungeons.

What are Chaos Dungeons? Chaos Dungeons are the first of three particularly important endgame activities and the first opportunity to improve your Gearscore. In the dungeons you meet waves of enemies and have to kill them.

You get randomly generated loot. So it’s rather tedious to improve your Gearscore by doing this, but the first opportunity you have is to maximize it.

You can complete these dungeons twice per day and per character. So if you want to spend a lot of time in the dungeons, it’s already worth having more than just one character at level 50.

Activity 2 – The Guardian Raids

How can you improve your Gearscore? If you have completed the quest line of the first level 50 continent, you can also travel directly to the next one. A complete set of equipment awaits you for completing the quests on this continent.

This equipment already has a relatively high Gearscore and in most cases is an upgrade for your equipment. You also need this to face the next of the 3 most important endgame activities – the Guardian Raids.

Was sind Guardian Raids? In order to be able to take part in the Guardian Raids, you always need a certain Gearscore. This is different for each Guardian Raid and the various raids are correspondingly more difficult.

In the Guardian Raids, which you master in a group of 4 people, you have to defeat a specific boss. You have 20 minutes for this boss and if he falls, there are decent rewards. These are then not random, as in the Chaos Dungeons, but in a way predetermined in a pool.

Like the Chaos Dungeons, you can complete two Guardian Raids per day per character. Here, too, a second character in the endgame is worthwhile.

Activity 3 – The Void Dungeons

What are Void Dungeons? Unlike Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids, you can only do the particularly difficult Void Dungeons three times a week, no matter how many characters you have.

The Void Dungeons is really difficult PvE content where you have to fight your way through tough and difficult dungeons in a group and gradually learn the mechanics of the bosses.

It is completely normal if you fail more often than you win, especially in the beginning. The Void Dungeons are difficult and require practice, but they also bring you the best rewards and a sense of triumph when you can conquer them.

There are also daily and weekly quests for all of these activities, which you can easily take with you. These quests give rewards on top of the already good rewards from the activities. Among other things, you can get the rare Emeralds from the quests that will help you improve your Gearscore.

What is left to do?

The PvP is fun, but brings little: Of course you can also throw yourself into PvP as soon as you are level 50 and have reached the endgame. However, beating other players doesn’t help your character much, but it’s a lot of fun.

You fight in PvP with normalized equipment, so that no one has an advantage through better armor. You then compete against each other in different game modes and fight for victory.

There are also daily and weekly quests for PvP, but apart from these the rewards in player vs. player mode are rare.

The Adventure Island: There are regular events happening on Adventure Island that you can take part in and earn some extra rewards. You can only complete these mostly funny activities once a day.

Flirt for your life: You can interact with certain NPCs five times a day and thus improve your relationship with them. This works differently depending on the NPC. You have to reveal your feelings to some, sing a song to others. Still other characters want gifts from you.

Whatever they want, you can give it to them up to 5 times a day and get a better relationship with them in return. The better your relationship is at it, the more rewards they give you.

Also worth exploring: Already at the beginning of Lost Ark you get your adventure tome. You can fill this up piece by piece by visiting special places, killing special bosses and finding the hidden Mokoko seeds in the world.

As the book slowly fills up, you’ll get more rewards bit by bit. So it can definitely pay off to keep a closer eye on the world around you.

The adventure tome is waiting to be filled.

Reputation quests bring big loot: Similar to the daily and weekly quests, reputation quests also await you. You should always keep an eye on these special tasks, as they give you many rewards as you rise in reputation.

You can find them in the same window where the weekly and daily tasks await you. The one more click can give you a huge advantage at this point.

What about life skills and housing? You only have limited energy for life skills, i.e. things like chopping wood, breaking stones or catching fish. You start with a total of 10,000 energy for these activities.

However, you only recharge 4,320 of the points within 24 hours. If you want to farm as effectively as possible, you should make sure that you use at least 4,320 points a day so that you always start the new day with maximum possibilities.

It’s the same with your island. There you also have limited energy to carry out tasks or to send your people on missions. Here you can use about 1,500 a day, which then recharges in 24 hours.

For maximum yield, you should also take care of your island every day. An equally exciting loot awaits you here.

In the Lost Ark housing you can organize your own island.

PvE carnage without a dungeon: You can also face the powerful field bosses once per day per character. These are particularly powerful enemies that just appear somewhere in the world. However, you need several players to break them down. And a whole lot of time.

The rewards of the bosses are adjusted to the level of the area. So hitting a level 20 boss at level 50 is only of limited benefit to you, but it’s fun.

The Ghost Ship, a PvE event that you can do once a week, also brings fun, rewards and carnage.

What would you say, do you like the prospect of Lost Ark’s endgame or isn’t there anything really that appeals to you? Have you perhaps even played the Russian version and have any suggestions on what else to do once you’ve reached level 50? Write it to us in the comments here at MeinMMO.

Still not sure which class to play? We have gameplay videos of all 21 classes.
