Season 2 for Warzone and Vanguard will have to wait.

Call of Duty Vanguard and the Battle Royale mode Warzone have suffered from various bugs and errors since the launch of the new offshoot. Warzone did not get the transition from Verdansk to the new Pacific map Caldera. The developer studios know this too, and only a few days ago they sent an apology to the fans, listing the biggest problems that are to be fixed with the next updates. And that now has consequences for the start of Season 2.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 is coming almost two weeks later than planned

Season 2 for Warzone and Vanguard was supposed to start on February 2nd. As Activision said in a statement on the CoD-Homepage announced, the date has now been postponed by twelve days:

  • Neuer Season 2-Launch: February 14, 2022

The announcement states:

To date we have released a number of updates, but more needs to be done. Therefore we have decided to postpone the start of Season 2 for Warzone Pacific and Vanguard. We will use the additional development time to deliver further updates.

This should be tackled specifically:

  • General Quality of Life improvements
  • Optimization of the basic gameplay loop
  • game mechanics
  • Balancing weapons and equipment
  • Bug-Fixes
  • Better stability

Valuable tips for the current Warzone version:

Bugs from strange to annoying

Shifts are nothing new for the Warzone team. Even the start of the Pacific map could not take place on time. Since then, however, there have been a noticeable number of bugs in the game. Some of these are likely to amuse those affected – such as the third-person glitch. Others just destroy the gaming experience. Would you like an example? If you are wearing a certain operator skin, your crosshairs will shift and you will no longer be able to aim properly.

How do you feel about the gaming experience of Warzone and Vanguard at the moment? And are you disappointed with the postponement?
