HBO Max continues to recover series and today premieres one of the most sought after by fans of fantastic

If you are one of the people who likes pseudo-scientific series with futuristic touches and the occasional mythological twist, we inform you that Fringe has just arrived on HBO Max.

This series was created in 2008 by JJ Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and although it started out somewhat weak for the critics, it did end up becoming a cult series.

Many categorized it as the worthy successor to The X Files and that in this series a department of the FBI, Fringe Division, investigates rare and unexplained cases in a plausible border between science and the paranormal.

Olivia Dunham, a character played by Anny Torv, and Peter Bishop (Josua Jackson) make an FBI couple reminiscent of Mulder and Scully. In fact, there are chapters that are true tributes to The X Files.

It is a series in which each chapter has its own case and the adventures of Olivia and Peter are narrated to find a solution to these cases X Files style. In fact, it is not until the end of the first season that an underlying plot is revealed that will shape the rest of the series.

Also, both characters are supported by father Peter, Dr. Walter Bishop who plays the eccentric scientist and gives a comic touch that degreases most chapters.

If you like series like Friends, The Sopranos or Game of Thrones, HBO Max has these and many more in its catalog.

Fringe has a total of five seasons and we warn you that if you start watching it, it is very likely that you will get hooked. Of course, you will not be able to see it in 4K since at that time FullHD was the standard.

As for the plot, knowing why Olivia is special for the entire series is one of the subplots and they cover it with brushstrokes chapter by chapter.

The series has an end, that is, it was not canceled without an apparent end and leaves everything well closed at the end of the fifth season. You may like it or not, certainly in my opinion it is a good ending. you can see it in full on HBO Max.
