The Elder Scrolls 6: Bethesda Roleplaying Game is arguably still in pre-production

A few days ago, an employee of Bethesda Game Studios added some interesting information to her LinkedIn profile and probably gave away a bit too much. According to them, The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the pre-production phase. So it will be a few more years before RPG fans can play the long-awaited sequel. By the way, the profile is no longer online. However, a screenshot on Twitter published the relevant part.

It’s not too much of a surprise that The Elder Scrolls 6 isn’t going to be released any time soon. Those responsible at Bethesda have also talked about it again and again in the past. For now, the team’s primary focus is on Starfield, whose development is well into its home stretch. The new sci-fi brand for Xbox Series X | S and the PC should be available on November 11, 2022. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the title right at launch. Latest updated video: E3 2018 TeaserTrailer
