The Google Pixel 6a could see the light in May of this year with more modest specifications

The latest rumors suggest that the Google Pixel 6a would already be on the work table and those of Google could launch the device in May of this year. Of course, it would be a cut version of his older brothers.

Last year Google launched two terminals destined to compete for the throne in the high range, this made the rumors about the end of affordable devices by the company that created Android spread like wildfire.

And, it is that, after several failed launches due to its poor reception by users, those of Google focused on offering the market terminals with a very interesting relationship between quality and price. In fact, they were the option to recommend because of their camera.

The arrival of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro made to fight a battle with the top terminals from companies such as Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO or Xiaomi seemed to be the end of Google devices with the letter A as a last name.

However, the latest rumors suggest that the reality would be very different from the assumptions. What is being said is that Google would have the Google Pixel 6a in hand, a cut version of its high-end terminals.

At the level of specifications, what is expected is that the Google Pixel 6a mounts the same processor as its older brothers. The Google Tensor would be in charge of bringing this device to life and making everything work properly.

As for the design, the latest renders point to a design almost identical to that of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The main difference in aesthetic terms would be that the device would have fewer cameras on the back.

The photographic section would consist of a 12.2 megapixel Sony main sensor and, probably, it would be accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor also signed by Sony.

When it comes to taking selfies, the expected camera would be integrated into the screen. The sensor would be 8 megapixels. In addition, this would not be the only element integrated into the screen and, is that, it is rumored that it would have a fingerprint reader under the screen.

The diagonal of screen expected on this device is 6.2 inches on an OLED panel and, although nothing has been said about the refresh rate, Google may decide to integrate 90 Hz to this device.

There is no definite date for the launch of the Google Pixel 6a, but what is expected is that it will make an appearance in May of this year. We will be attentive to the launch and we hope that those of Google decide to bring it to our borders.
