Elden Ring: Gold status achieved and day-one update planned

Anyone who had feared that the release of the action role-playing game Elden Ring (from 50,99€ at pre-order) could postpone again, can breathe a sigh of relief: Like from a confirmation by the FromSoftware development studio, the game recently went gold.

Accordingly, all work on the release version of Elden Ring has been completed. Nothing should stand in the way of the punctual release on February 25, 2022 on the PC and consoles. Nevertheless, the developers are not just sitting idly by – quite the opposite. The responsible producer Yasuhiro Kitao revealed during a presentation at the Taipei Game Show 2022 that there will be a day-one update for the action role-playing game. This is said to include some tweaks that didn’t make it into the Gold Master version.

So far there are no detailed patch notes or further information. However, it can be assumed that FromSoftware will use the update to put the finishing touches to Elden Ring so that players get the best possible experience right on the release day – probably including one or the other bug fix.
