What is this event? Spotlight Hour kicks off every Tuesday night in Pokémon GO. A selected Pokémon is the focus of the event for a period of 60 minutes. You can find it almost everywhere in the wilderness. The whole thing is accompanied by a bonus that should make the spotlight hour tasty for you.

Spotlight Hour with Minun – Start, Shiny and Bonuses

When does the event start? Spotlight Hour begins today, January 25, at 6:00 p.m. local time. You can then play the event for one hour until it ends at 19:00.

These are the bonuses: During the event, you can find Minun almost everywhere in the wilderness. If you want to increase your yield even further, light a smoke. This also mostly attracts Minun.

As a bonus, sending Pokemon will give you twice the amount of Candy. So it’s worth sifting through the collection beforehand and marking the Pokémon you want to send. Then send them during Spotlight Hour to earn as many Candy as possible.

Does Shiny Minun exist? Yes, you can catch Shiny Minun in Pokémon GO. If you’re lucky, you’ll see it during today’s spotlight hour.

Is the limelight hour worth it today with Minun?

Who is it worth it for? Minun is not a particularly good attacker that you should definitely catch. That’s why the spotlight hour is more worthwhile for those of you who want to clean up your collection. Use the candy bonus to make cleaning up even more worthwhile.
