Try these Exo combos in Destiny 2 now before they run out with Witch Queen
Destiny 2 is planning more freedom in the composition of builds with Witch Queen. But the gameplay already offers many creative possibilities for anyone who likes to try it out. The YouTuber Marsix has now put together great Exotic combos in a video. We tell you what they are and why you should definitely try them before Witch Queen.
In the long run it can be boring to only play the currently strongest meta build in Destiny 2. There are so many exotics and combinations with exotics that can drastically change the way you play, are insanely efficient, and are fun at the same time.
- You can bomb away your opponents with the chain of explosion damage
- Make yourself invisible indefinitely and ambush you
- To be so toxic that you can clear a raid encounter alone
In his latest video the YouTuber Marsix featured what he considers the coolest and craziest exotic build combos you can currently use in the game. His suggestions upgrade even bad exotics enormously.
The video is of particular interest to players who have not yet dealt with exo builds and the possibilities in Destiny 2 in such detail. For them it can be a good inspiration how to combine exotics, i.e. two yellow items, in a meaningful way.
The exotic combinations for all three classes
Here we present the builds for all three classes in more detail and tell you which exotic armor parts and weapons you have to combine exactly.
The exo combos for the warlock
Necrotic Grasp + Spike Exo Hand Cannon
This build has long been a must-have for warlocks. Combining the Necrotic Grasp Exo and Thorn Exotic Hand Cannon is an effective mass killer and highly contagious. The spreading corruption is extremely poisonous against smaller opponents.
“Escape Artist” + Exo Pulse Rifle “No Time To Explain”
With this Exo combination, you turn your Warlock into a walking turret. Thanks to “Escape Artist” you can turn your grenade into a small cannon (arc soul) that supports you in battle.
If you also trigger the perk “Rewind again” of the exo weapon “No time for explanations” 10 times, a small time portal will also open. So you basically have two of the most effective turrets at the same time. Precision hits extend the duration of this time portal.

The Exo Combos for the Titan
Fission Pen + Exo-Bow Ticcus Divination
One blast is good, multiple blasts are better. With this combination you can really pop it. Shooting with the bow from the hip and then melee will trigger two explosions at once. At least in normal to medium-heavy challenges, this brings you massive area damage that blows something away.
“Actium War Gear” + “Workhorse” Exo Auto Rifle
The workhorse is not called that for nothing. You can hold it until the magazine is empty. Then it usually has to be reloaded. But if you combine it with the exotic “Actium War Equipment”, which constantly reloads part of the magazine from reserves, you can keep the trigger pressed indefinitely.
The exo combos for the hunter
Pledge of Allegiance + Le Monarque Exo-Bow“
The Le Monarque Exotic Void Bow has long been considered one of the best bows in Destiny 2. It did very well in Season 15 against the freaky ÜberCharge champions. Assuming you can always trigger your poison damage. If you don’t always succeed, you should definitely play it with the hunter exotic “Oath of Allegiance”.
Actually, the Exotic should only increase the duration in which you can hold a bow taut. But in “Le Monarque” it ensures that the Poison Arrow perk is always active. If you combine this with the High-Energy Fire mod, you’ll one-shot kill a Guardian in the Crucible with it.
“Graviton’s Repentance” + Exo-Pistol “Rat King”
You want to run through all enemies without taking damage? Then just make yourself almost permanently invisible. Thanks to the Exotic Graviton Penance, the duration of the invisibility effect can be doubled, to about 12 seconds. At the same time, the Exotic grants faster regeneration of the melee.
You can get even more invisibility if you play the Rat King exo pistol and increase your strength to 100. Reload immediately after a kill and you have time to wait for your melee to charge up to remain almost permanently invisible.

Why you should try the Exo builds before Witch Queen: While we already know some of the details at this point, no one knows exactly what may be changing with Witch Queen in terms of abilities and exotics.
Therefore, our recommendation is to simply try the combinations now before Witch Queen appears on February 22, 2022. Maybe you’ll find the perfect build right away, with which you can start the new campaign, provided nothing changes.
