WhatsApp has a very practical secret menu that hardly anyone uses

This is the procedure that you must do to discover a secret menu that WhatsApp hides and that you surely have not used yet.

Although we have dozens of applications installed on our mobile phone or tablet, many of the options offered by each of them go unnoticed, and thanks to our operating system we can have access to new options.

WhatsApp is not an exception and account with a secret menu that you probably don’t know yet. And it is that regardless of whether you are using WhatsApp on iOS or Android, there is a small secret menu, a menu full of shortcuts, which will allow you, among other things, to access your chats much faster.

This secret menu in WhatsApp has been available for a long time on IOS, and it is not necessary or that you have the app updated to the latest version. In our case, we have tried it both with WhatsApp without updating and updating to the latest version on an iPhone, and the same options appear.

In the screenshot we can see the options that appear in iOS, with the possibility of adding a widget with the last four WhatsApp conversations, and which is located just above the search option, and which we have removed due to privacy issues.

For the menu to appear, you simply have to press for a second on the WhatsApp direct access that you have on your mobile phone.

On Android, options appear such as searching our conversations, adding a widget with the 4 most recent contacts, opening a new chat, accessing the camera, QR code or sharing WhatsApp, as well as the pertinent option to delete the app.

As we said, this menu takes time on iOS, but on Android it is now being established, so if you use a phone with an Android operating system and you do not have access to this menu, you just have to wait.

This secret menu is not very mysterious and is present in other applications such as Telegram on iOS, which with the same procedure also have other shortcuts with which to access images, conversations or history, among others.
