Diablo 3: When does Season 25 end and when does Season 26 start? Our prognosis

Season 25 has been running in Diablo 3 for a few weeks, but when does Season 25 end? We look at the duration of the past seasons and show you our forecast.

What’s going on in Diablo 3 right now? Regularly, at intervals of about 3 to 4 months, a new season starts in Blizzard’s Hack’n’Slay. Seasons change gameplay through certain bonuses or items.

Season 25 is currently active in D3, which started in December 2021. Here on MeinMMO we want to share a prognosis with you about how long Season 25 will probably last and when we expect the end date. Derived from this, we can also assume a start date for S26.

End of Season 25 – When?

That is known: Blizzard officially knows that they only specifically address the end of a season when the end is only about two weeks away. A season in Diablo 3 usually lasts three months. Special circumstances, such as large patches, can lengthen or shorten the duration of a Season.

We no longer announce a probable end date for Seasons. However, seasons should last approximately three months (sometimes slightly longer, sometimes slightly shorter depending on development needs) and we will continue to give you at least two weeks’ notice before the end of a season.

Our forecast for the end of Season 25: Here on MeinMMO we have been supporting the D3 seasons for several years and have experience with the duration of the events. Here we show you four possible dates that are possible end dates of S25.

Things to note: S25 launched on December 10th. Diablo 3 seasons always end on a Sunday.

Possible end dates:

• February 27, 2022
• March 6, 2022 (exactly 3 months)
• March 13, 2022
• March 20, 2022

This is how it went so far: Blizzard usually stays true to its rough 3-month plan, with only a few exceptions. Let’s look at the past:

• Season 24 started on July 23, 2021 and ended on December 5, 2021
• Season 23 started on April 2, 2021 and ended on July 18, 2021
• Season 22 started on November 20, 2020 and ended on March 28, 2021
• Season 21 started on July 3, 2020 and ended on November 8, 2020
• Season 20 started on March 13, 2020 and ended on June 21, 2020
• Season 19 started on November 22, 2019 and ran until March 1, 2020
• Season 18 started on August 23, 2019 and ended on November 10, 2019
• Season 17 started on May 17, 2019 and ended on August 18, 2019
• Season 16 started on January 18, 2019 and was supposed to end on March 17, 2019. But it only ended on May 12, 2019

When does season 26 start?

We know this: From the experience of the last few years, we know that the break between two seasons is about one to two weeks. The last seasons (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25) all started on a Friday.

We assume that: Based on experience, we assume that Season 26 will also start on a Friday. And that’s about a week or two after the end of Season 25.
