Dying Light 2: Stay Human: Roadmap promises first story DLC in June

On the occasion of the forthcoming release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human (from 59,99 at pre-order), developer Techland has published a roadmap for further content support for the action game, which, as already announced, should last well over five years. In addition, they provide an overview map showing all planned updates up to June. The first free DLC for the factions is scheduled to appear as early as February, the introduction of challenges is then planned for March, and in April fans can look forward to a series of events called “mutated infected”. After another range of challenges in May, the first paid story DLC will be released in June. At this point the roadmap ends for the time being, but in addition to a second story extension, it also promises new weapons, enemies, events and much more. However, Techland has not yet announced any specific information about the content of the story DLC or the events.

The development of Dying Light 2 was plagued by several postponements, among other things. The game was supposed to be released in spring 2020, but was then pushed back to December 7th, 2021, only to be postponed a second time, with the final release date February 4th, 2022.

In Germany, the uncut version was refused release by the USK. Therefore, only a cut version with a USK-18 seal will be available in the digital stores in this country for the time being (as reported). However, Techland assures that all other features and the story remain unchanged. However, the uncut PEGI version can also be purchased as a disc variant from selected dealers (e.g Amazon) order.
