This is also the case with Horizon Forbidden West, which does not cover quite as many platforms as titles that also appear on Microsoft consoles, but at least two Sony generations and different models. New videos now give us a taste of what to expect on the PS4 Pro.

It’s all about this: Horizon Forbidden West launches exclusively on PlayStation consoles on February 18th, and for those who haven’t got their hands on the PS5 yet, you’re bound to be wondering how Aloy’s new adventure fares on the Last Gen. Of course, we won’t know in detail until we’ve played the whole game.

Three new videos posted in PlayStation-Blog were released, but already give a little foretaste of the PS4 Pro version – and it’s something to be proud of. By the way, screenshots from the PS4 version have already been published.

Tribal area of ​​the Utaru: In the first – and quietest – video, Aloy strolls through the Utaru tribal area. We can marvel at the unusual construction. Dominating the image are thatched, organically curved huts that, as the blog post reveals, are built on top of old-world radar dishes. There are also hanging bridges and wide panoramic views.

Fight against new machines: In the second video, we catch a glimpse of Aloy fighting in the forest with nimble robots known as “Clamberjaw” who have the ability to jump. She takes a tactical approach and uses a variety of weapons.
