What series to watch this weekend on Netflix, Apple TV and Prime Video: A neighbor, a role-playing game and a Foundation

The history of this series is brutal, since it has emerged from a group of friends who played role-playing on Twitch and that, in months, they have become a worldwide phenomenon within the RPG community. Their adventures are followed by millions of people and Amazon has made them a series.

Foundation

The name of this series will sound familiar to you because it is the title of the homonymous work by Isaac Asimov. A trilogy written in the 1950s by the fantastic Russian-born Sci-Fi writer.

The premise of the Founding stories is that, in the waning times of a future Galactic Empire, mathematician Hari Seldon develops the theory of psychohistory, a powerful new mathematical sociology: can predict the future of large populations.

Being one of the most powerful and famous science fiction stories in history, it was Apple who managed to get their rights. It is available on Tim Cook’s service, where the 10 chapters that make up the first season are found.
