Dead by Daylight: At Easter, killing is doubly worthwhile

Dead by Daylight doubles blood points. This is not only worthwhile for veterans, it is also the perfect opportunity for newcomers.

Easter is just around the corner and with it the time begins in Dead by Daylight colorful eggs hunting nasty survivors. The developers want to give you a little more incentive to play as a killer or survivor over the Easter holidays. Bloodpoints are raining down again, allowing all players to progress significantly faster.

A leak reveals that another “Blood Hunt” is coming up in the coming days. So far, the leak account “DbDLeaks” on Twitter has always been right – and the timing also sounds plausible. Keep in mind, however, that an official announcement is still pending.

What is this event? At more or less regular intervals, Dead by Daylight organizes a so-called “Blood Hunt”. During this event, blood point gains are doubled for all players. This affects all blood points that you can earn during a match.

Excluded from the bonus are blood points that you get through quests, challenges or codes.

How long does the “Blood Hunt” go? The event runs over the entire Easter weekend, i.e. from April 14th to April 18th. As long as you can benefit from the increased blood points and stock up properly – either for new unlocks immediately or with the next new killer and survivor.

Why is this especially good for beginners? Getting started in Dead by Daylight is relatively hard. This is not only because there are many subtleties and details that you only learn over the course of hundreds of hours of play, but also because of the initial grind required. Most strong perks are bound to specific characters and only become accessible to all characters once they have been unlocked. This unlock comes through Blood Points – so getting double the amount of this is a pretty powerful bonus to get you started.

Of course, the double blood points are also worthwhile for veterans who want to complete their perk collection or unlock a few of the particularly bloody “prestige” skins.

Can the bonus be combined? Yes. The 100% extra blood points can be combined with all other blood point bonuses. So if you also use offerings or perks that increase your blood point gain, you can combine them and increase your blood points even further.

Keep in mind that the bonuses are additive and not multiplicative.

Will you catch some survivors over Easter or try to avoid the killer? Or can such an event not inspire you?
