Cyberpunk 2077: Launch trailer for patch 1.5 and next-gen version

Lots of atmosphere: Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action role-playing game that takes us to the city of Night City in a dystopian future. Here we take on criminals and malicious corporations, among other things. Last but not least, the title from CD Projekt RED shines with its atmospheric game world, its complex characters and the many exciting, twisted and sometimes brutal stories it tells.

Not perfect, but better: At the time of release, however, Cyberpunk 2077 made headlines less because of its many strengths and more because of its terrible technical condition. In the meantime, of course, a lot has been improved and most of the bugs eliminated, but Cyberpunkt 2077 in the PS4 version is still not quite perfect today. On the PS5, on the other hand, the role-playing game caused far fewer problems when it was released. The PS5 version was also released earlier this year, bringing graphical improvements and a stable 60 fps in performance mode.

Conclusion: Especially if you own a PS5, now is a good opportunity to catch up on Cyberpunk 2077. The role-playing game has been in such good condition on the powerful console since the release of the PS5 version at the latest that you really don’t have to wait any longer. You shouldn’t miss Cyberpunk 2077, because while it may not have lived up to all the high expectations, its atmospheric game world and dark, mature stories make it a unique and impressive experience.

Cyberpunk 2077 instead of €49.99 for €24.99 in the PlayStation Store

The right game for: Anyone who wants a gripping, depressing action masterpiece at the highest level of production.

Not so good for: Anyone who doesn’t like to see fallen characters suffer.

Review video of The Last of Us Part 2 – Why this game will change story games forever

Technically impressive: Last but not least, The Last of Us Part II impresses with its production quality. It’s amazing how detailed the action game is able to stage its apocalyptic game world on the PS4, with spectacular lighting and weather effects. More importantly, however, are the lifelike animations of the characters, which allow them to represent the emotional plot much better than we are used to even from other expensive AAA games.

Exciting and difficult to digest: The story of The Last of Us 2 is exciting, ruthless and well staged. Anyone who has fallen in love with the characters from the predecessor should prepare for one or the other difficult twist. In terms of play, you basically get the usual mixture of exploration, sneaking and shooting. Because some of the levels are now significantly larger and more open than in the first part, we have a little more freedom.

Conclusion: Alongside God Of War and Uncharted 4, The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the big PS4 productions that has shown what the console is capable of. The twists and turns of the story may not please all fans of the predecessor, but the blockbuster should definitely be played at least because of the excellent staging and the atmospheric post-apocalyptic game world.

The Last of Us Part 2 instead of €39.99 for €19.99 in the PlayStation Store

The right game for: Anyone who just wants more Far Cry.

Not so good for: Everyone who expects a great story or big innovations.

GamePro rating: 78 points

You can get Ubisoft’s open-world hit Far Cry 6 at half price, i.e. for 34.99 euros instead of 69.99 euros. For 49.99 euros instead of 99.99 euros you can also do this gold edition get the Season Pass included.

Far Cry 6 review

Far Cry 6 review

Weak story, pretty island: The open-world shooter Far Cry 6 sends us into battle against the dictator Antón Castillo on a fictional island that is strongly reminiscent of Cuba. This is played by Giancarlo Esposito, known from Breaking Bad, among other things, and staged in elaborate cutscenes. Still, the story doesn’t really get going. But the game world is designed nicely and detailed, with a rich flora and fauna. The latter likes to attack, which leads to chaotic situations.

Sometimes better, sometimes worse: When it comes to gameplay, Far Cry 6 relies on old strengths. It gives us a lot of freedom and invites us to experiment with its variety of weapons and vehicles. However, the different approaches are not particularly well balanced. We usually make the best progress when attacking head-on with our favorite weapon. After all, crafting and resource gathering is more credibly integrated into the game world than it used to be.

Conclusion: Far Cry 6 is not a major development compared to its predecessor. It does some things better, but also some things worse than part 5. In the end, you get another Far Cry, with many playful possibilities, many bizarre situations and a nice game world, but with few new ideas. If you’re happy with that, you can’t go wrong here.

Far Cry 6 instead of €69.99 for €34.99 in the PlayStation Store

The right game for: Anyone who wants to experience a beautiful animated film style adventure.

Beautiful and really good: Our test video for Kena Bridge of Spirits

Beautiful and really good: Our test video for Kena Bridge of Spirits

Like in the movie: Kena: Bridge of Spirits captivates at first glance with its wonderful Pixar film-style look. In fact, development studio Ember Lab has previously worked on animated films. By the way, despite the cute and colorful style, the premise of the story is quite serious: Kena’s task is to help the souls of the dead to rest. But she is not alone, but is accompanied by small, cute creatures called Rott.

Proven mix: Gameplay is an unoriginal but well-functioning mix of exploration, puzzles, and combat. The most unusual game element are the Rott, with the help of which we can carry out special attacks or diversionary maneuvers in battle. We also use them to unlock new abilities. Apart from that, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is not very complex in terms of gameplay, but it is quite demanding. Especially in the boss fights you can work up a sweat.

Conclusion: Kena is worth a look just for the gorgeous look alone. By the way, don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s just child’s play because of its cuteness. Gameplay and story are challenging enough to captivate even adults. But you shouldn’t expect any special playful innovations.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS4 & PS5) instead of €39.99 for €27.99 (€23.99 with PS Plus) in the PlayStation Store
