Twitch streamer sleeps live – viewers hatch him a rare Pokémon
Twitch streamer Alpharad played Pokémon in the stream with his community, but then went to sleep. The viewers kept going – and in the meantime hatched him a rare monster via chat commands.
What happened in the stream? Alpharad played a format called Twitch-Plays-Pokemon in the stream. In the game, viewers can use chat commands to control the game. For example, you can use certain commands to let the character run.
As it got later and later, Alpharad decided to go to sleep. So that his viewers can continue playing the game and not have to interrupt it because of him, he stayed live and let the game continue.
In the meantime, Alpharad’s viewers who played the “Pokémon Crystal” edition received a so-called Odd Egg. They then hatched the egg and received a rare shiny pee.

Why is the Pokemon so rare?
The rarity of the Shiny Pii: The Pokemon spawned by chat is a shiny-pii. Shinys, or shiny Pokémon, are ordinary Pokémon that come in unusual, different colors.
Shiny Pokémon are considered very rare and are therefore sought after by many Pokémon players. The probability of generally getting a Shiny Pokémon from an Odd Egg is increased and is 14%.
Nevertheless, Alpharad can count itself lucky. The probability of getting a Shiny-Pii from the Odd Egg is only 3% (via Bulbapedia.net).
